The Heart of Hospitality
It started with a small church in Sechelt, BC. While traveling through the Sunshine Coast, our founder stopped to help a congregation struggling with their tech setup — a projector that wouldn't connect, a website that hadn't been updated in years, and a sound system held together with hope and electrical tape.
In exchange for a few days of hands-on help, the church offered a spare room, home-cooked meals, and the kind of warm welcome you can't find on any booking platform. That experience planted a seed: across Canada, thousands of small churches need skilled volunteers, and thousands of travelers are looking for something more meaningful than another hotel stay.
